Welcome new and returning families,
We want to wish all of our students a successful year ahead!
Now a little about us...
The Parent Committee is made up of a group of dedicated and hard-working volunteers. Volunteering allows you to better connect with the Summit community and to help make a difference in the daily lives of the students, your child and ... you!
We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers. We know that your time is valuable, so let us know when you are available to volunteer and we will welcome you with open arms.
WE NEED YOU!!
In the days ahead, we will be sending out more information regarding meals and upcoming activities.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We read our emails regularly and would be more than happy to meet with you in person.
We look forward to meeting you.
Stephie Destro and Wendy Zaritsky
Where Our Kids Come First
The Parent Committee impacts many areas of the school. Besides raising funds for equipment, projects like our Meal Days incorporate the training of students with the responsibilities of food and supply deliveries to the classrooms. The notices for these events, the agenda and our newsletters are produced by the students at TECC. We also hold conferences given by professionals on different topics for the benefit of our families.
One of the biggest benefits of volunteering with the Parents Committee is that it presents an opportunity for parents to meet and support each other informally in a positive and constructive way. After all, we are all volunteering to make life better for our children. Our group is made up of only a handful of parents and we are in need of others to join us to help keep our projects going.
We urge you to consider giving some of your time to the many projects we have established in the school.Gluten Free Cookie Recipe
