Summit Tweets was a pilot project started by the Speech and Language department in 2013. The Speech Language Pathology team was looking for a way to encourage students to express themselves on current issues in a way that went beyond the classroom. Students from different classes volunteered to answer questions on film and then a video compilation was made and shared across the school. As part of the project, students were reminded to value the opinions of others and were encouraged to disagree respectfully. Past themes have involved talking about favourites like music and movies. Other topics were more heated such as how students feel about having to wear a school uniform!

We hope that Summit Tweets generates discussion in class, the hallways and now on the website!
Please feel free to share your opinions and comments too!
