Summit School is a private school recognized and subsidized in the public interest by the Minsitere de L'Education du Loisir et du Sport. Language of instruction is offered in English with the exception of French as a second language.
Founded in 1963, it is located in the Ville St. Laurent borough of Montreal. It currently services over 550 special needs students by creating an individualized and enriching environment.
The students, from ages 4 to 21, present with a range of difficulties including intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or behavioural and emotional disturbances.
They are referred by parents, school boards, hospitals, and social service agencies.
At Summit School, students and their families are supported as they encounter the challenges that arise throughout the educational journey.
